Infinitely Yours, the Fallen Girl~: KOREA: Day 9: SBS Inkigayo Rehearsal/ Walking around

OMGsh, lol today was sorta tiring~~

But anyways, we went to Inkigayo rehearsal today!!!! (Originally Inki is the hardest out of Mnet, Kbs, and Mbc to get into, but we got in through Lillian's friend :) Although we didn't get to see prerecorded performances such as Taetiseo (although we did see them at their segment with the MCs), BAP, Sistar, and 4minute, we pretty much got to see everyone else~~

(Don't worry, we will try our hardest to see BAP LOL. Next Sat. we are aiming for Music Core :D)

But anyways, just to break down how the music program works simply:

1) Prerecording (this happens the earliest). Only select artists get to prerecord, and they don't just do it once or twice, they do it several times (this is why you might sometimes see them sweating on perfs even when they've just begun).

2) Rehearsal (they try to get through everyone, but not the prerecorded peoples). Here is where there are quite a bit of mistakes (such as music stopping and starting and the artist having to restart the perf, etc).

3) Live perf. Everyone performs here and the winner and etc are announced here. And this is when fanchants are organized and heard~

Here's a few things I noticed :

1) You get to be closer to the artists than I thought.

I literally was standing 2 feet away from Electroboyz when we first came in, and just a few meters away were the MCs (IU, Nicole, and Hara).

And when we went out, we were literally 1 feet away from this guy from ...ugh I forgot ...LOL, but yeah...one of the earlier boy bands that performed~

And if you hang out by the washrooms, you'll get to see quite a few backup dancers and perhaps even some artists~

2) You can wait outside the parking lot. All the black vans are parked really close and so when you wait for artists to come out, they will usually wave to you and even wave from the car. Here, you can try to give them presents~~

3) Lounge around the area! Some artists will be outside smoking and whatnot~

4) Everyone is generally pretty calm. Except...well..for some crazy fangirls and stuff. So just remain calm too and don't scream~ Artists may notice you more that way~

5) If you plan on taking pictures (like I did), make sure you disguise it well! Or else if they find out, they will give you a stern warning, and after that if they catch you again, you can be kicked out!

Luckily I'm ninja enough to get by :D

Although at the expense of picture quality =S

6) If you don't have connections, GET THERE EARLY! And by early, I mean EARLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

Find the leader who's in charge of the artist that you want to support's fanclub and give her your name and show her your album (you must have the newest album!). Sometimes it's not enough to guarantee that you'll get in. For some, you must be a member of their fancafe~

It really depends.

Just try to talk your way in. Use all the excuses you can think of xD

For those people who don't have the connections but line up and wait, they get to watch Prerecording (if their artist prerecords, AND usually LIVE as well. But they must leave in between during the rehearsal though. During that time, do NOT wander around because you should wait there....because sometimes it may end a bit earlier and if they call your name and you're not there, game's over)

For us, we only got to watch the rehearsal =( But we didn't have to line-up~~

Next week when we try for Music Core, we're going to line-up and everything, with our BAP albums and whistles and hope for the best xD

7) There's three main stable cameras and 2-3 moving angle cameras which all take turns flashing red throughout the performance. Whichever camera flashes red is the one that is currently recording and broadcasting and that is the one the artist has to find while he/she sings his/her part~ There is one large ish monitor on the right-hand side that shows what the audience will see and how the cuts will look like~

^Hehe Ivy was so cute~ During the rehearsal, one of the moving angle cameras got too close to her (basically almost touching her hip) and she got scared and laughed and backed away hesitantly as she was singing~ xD And then the music stopped xDD And then she had to re-start from the beginning :P

Ukiss was cute too xD They had to stop and start THREE TIMES!!

The first time was about 30 seconds into the performance and the music had stopped. Dongho did this evil "Hehehe" and we all laughed LOL. Dongho, you cute poo...

The second time was about 20 seconds into the performance and the music stopped again, and this time they all bowed and the cameramen said sorry and to start again~

The third time was HALFWAY into the performance and the music stopped right at Hoon's high note xD He had his hand up in the air just about to hit the climax and it stopped and he just looked sorta lost xDD

LMAO, and slowly lowered his hand :P

And they got back into their positions and Kiseop did this 90 degree bow~ Sigh, polite boys hehe~

But FINALLY, on the fourth try they got it xD

Hehe Exo was cute too xD

They had to stop and start twice~

The first time was during D.O's part and he froze with the same derpness that we all love <3

And the second time was a little bit later into the performance~

Poor boys, simply bowed and got back into position~

They looked so tired :\

It's not very large, so maybe that's why it's one of the hardest to get into~ MBC, on the other hand, is located WAY WAY WAY far away from SBS and KBS, and Mnet, and so it's a little less popular~ The building is also VERY LARGE so most people would get in (except maybe during important comebacks or something).

After that we went to eat Samgyupsal <3 <3

VERY VERY GOOD!! It was about 46000 won in total (there were four of us), so slightly over 10,000 won each~ But Lillian's friend paid for all of us :')

Then, we went to Megabox (arcade) and took sticky pics!

Oh, and in the area, there was ANOTHER UKISS FANSIGNING!

How come we always manage to bump into these things...

But we decided not to go to this one~

Oh and there was this raffle thing for Exo-M fansigning (which I desperately wanted to try for 'cuz I just have so much to say to my bishface, LuLu, and Baozi T^T). The signing is on the 10th (we'll still be here), but the chances aren't great...ofc...

And I'm getting broke... so the most I can buy is ONE album...so ONE ticket...which prob won't win

ANDDDD....We have our schedules JAM-PACKED for the remaining week in Korea..

So...

After we parted ways, Lillian and I walked around our guesthouse area~
