HAIII everyone :D Sorta hyper atm, but don't mind me. Heehee, currently 3:24am atm, and will be leaving for the airport in approx. 5 hours :)
So Lillian and I had been searching for another guesthouse or motel to stay in for our first two days for the LONGEST time today. Almost all of them were booked, esp. on such short notice!! The reason is because while we had already booked another guesthouse (Seoul Backpackers, Myeongdong branch) a long time ago, they had told us that they were able to accommodate us for all of our stay in Korea, EXCEPT the first two days 'cuz they are fully booked.
AND SOOOO....we had thought that oh, since it's only 2 days, we'll just find some random place later. And we kept procrastinating and procrastinating...=___=
And today we finally were like...OH SHIZ....WE NEED A PLACE PRONTO!!!
And so the hunt was on....
BUT after trying over 10 different places and reserving and getting rejected over and over, we FINALLY booked a place.
It's Eco-guesthouse, also really near Myeongdong so when we check out of there to check in to Seoul Backpackers, it'll be nice and near~ (Cuz we have all our luggage too)
YAYYYY
Eco-guesthouse is 65,000 won a night (approx. $65 dollars CAD) for two people, so it'll be approx $32.5 each) and we're only staying two nights here so that's fine.
Seoul backpackers is about $30 each per night BUTTTT they have a deal in which for every 7 days you stay, you get one night free, and we're staying for 2 weeks there so we get 2 days free, so really it comes down to cheaper than $30 a night :D
And both of them have breakfast, wifi, aircon, TV, 2 beds, public phone, private bathroom, ETC
So yeah :DDD
I'm so glad we took the time to find good places :D
Originally, we had wanted to book Namsan guesthouse (it seems like it's the most popular and the best one with the friendliest service and reliable video tours and etc) but when we tried booking that a few months ago, it was already full!!!! I guess it must be REALLY popular :\ The rooms were supeeeerrrr nice too so we were sad to let that one go =(
BUT oh well, Seoul backpackers and Eco-guesthouse are sure to be great too~ And it's not like we'll be spending too much time inside our rooms anyways when there's the Seoul nightlife OUTSIDE :DDD
YAYYYYY
Will update with pictures of the guesthouses once we get there (assuming we don't take the wrong bus from the airport and get lost :D)
Got no pictures to really show you gaiz atm, but here is some of the money that I have already exchanged~~~
I have a lot more in USD and some more in won that was exchanged later and that I just never bothered to take a picture of, so yeahhhh, it seems like it's not much money (considering we need food and lodging fees, plus SHOPPING and other fees like Lotte world ticket etc), but I have a lot more that's not in the pic and ofc, I can always withdraw more money from my bank account (though it will charge me 6 bucks everytime =___=)
Soooo, that's it for now!!! Super excited, hehe.
Will update once we get to Seattle (transfer flight) or if no time, when I'm in Seoul :D Catch y'all later <3
