KOREA: Day 12: EXO-M FANSIGNING/ Mabokrim Halmeoni Restaurant

HAI EVERYONE :D

EXO-M FANSIGNING~ 

LMAO, even though we didn't try for this fansigning (okay more like we didn't really know about it before it was too late), we still got to watch them from afar (OPEN FANSIGNINGS FTW)

And somehow we both agreed that the exo-m fansigning from afar was more exciting(?)...made us more crazy than the exo-k one up close when we actually talked to them :\

ARGHHHHHH MY ULTIMATE BIAS KRIS T-T

But anyways, today started with going to Mabokrim Halmeoni restaurant (the one that Simon and Martina went to before~~~)

 

 We weren't given a menu or anything (well we didn't really need one, there's just the standard thing that you get). They just sort of gave us the set for 2 people~~

 IT WAS HUGE!

 We didn't even finish the whole thing xDD

IT WAS VERY GOOD THOUGH!!

Total was 11000 won, so about 5500 won each!!! 

Only thing a bit different was that for here you pay before you eat~

Next!!! We had researched (ok more like I accidentally stumbled upon the fact that Exo-M was going to have their first Korea fansigning at Lotte Department Store Cheongryangri branch at 7pm) and we had hoped to DEATH that it was going to be an open signing like the Ukiss one and NOT like the Exo-K one~

And so after we finished eating and walked around a bit, off we went to Lotte Department store!!!

 

Hehe.

We got there at about 5pm, so we had 2 hours to waste~~

AND OMG I got so jelly at those fangirls that had the tickets T-T

I WANTED TO TALK TO THEM TOO AITE?!!? 

T^T

I literally had so much to say...esp. to Kris who can understand basically all the languages I know T-T

my bishface....T-T

But anyways, after stalking the fangirls around (to try to see where the actual signing was going to take place at ofc xD), we finally realized that it was OUTSIDE!!!

AHHHHH!!!!

IT WAS OPEN AFTER ALL! WE DID NOT COME HERE IN VAIN :D

 You have NO IDEA HOW HAPPY WE WERE OMG LMAO

And so we waited

AND WAITED

AND WAITED

I had to basically tiptoe for the entire 2 hours LMAO

OMG...

SO SQUISHED

AND FINALLY SOMEONE CAME

PEOPLE STARTED SCREAMING

and then turns out

it was a harabeoji crossing the street that needed some help and wandered into the fansigning area by accident xDDDDD

LMAO

I LAUGHED SO HARD

Poor harabeoji prob was like why are all these people screaming at me :PPP

BUT ANYWAYS...

WAITED SOME MORE

AND FINALLY

SPARKLING, TALL, GLOWING PEOPLE CAME

They were 10-15 min late~~~

BUT FINALLY

 

 

 

 May I just say that I absolutely LOVED THE JACKET THAT KRIS WAS WEARING!!!

He looked so Taiwanese hehehe <3

AND his hair was dyed lighter than I thought~~

And from the pictures/perfs, I'd expected him to be more skinny and lanky, but instead he just looked healthy and tall @.@ SAO GOOD

CHEN:

Ok CHEN was so different from how I imagined him to be!! He was the fanservice KINGGGGG (or maybe it was just because he was seated last and so he had a lot more idle time in which he returned fan's gesturings and stuff). But ohmagodddd, he KEPT doing cute gestures back at the fangirls!! 

Several of them include doing a cute shooting thing, doing hearts, doing peace signs, ETC

LOL because he kept doing it, he got more tired and just kept laughing in awe as fangirls continued to try and get his attention. Lol all he could do was laugh overwhelmingly and LOL we even saw him mouthing "oh my god" xDDDD

CHEN U R ADORABLE OKAIZ?

LAY:

Lay was a lot more stiff and calm~ He smiled quite a bit though and his dimples are SAO CUTE ARGH :D

Maybe it was because he was constantly signing (at one point the line piled up at his spot and like 4-5 girls were lining up for him. I guess it's because he just takes longer with each girl :D), but he didn't do too many gestures or waving~~

He wins second place in terms of fanservice! TOTALLY SURPRISING RIGHT?!

BISHFACE DOESN'T-TAKE-ANYONE'S-CRAP DUIZHANG KRIS actually smiled A LOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!

LOL Lillian and I were trying to get his attention the most because he understands english and it'd stand out amongst the fangirls screaming Chinese and Korean~~~

In fact he did look over at us several times :DDD

OH OH OH

and so we got this idea to get out our Canadian passports and wave it at him and OMGSH, he looked our way and like squinted and then was like OHHHHHHH and then SMILED and then DID A HEART!!!

HE DID A HEART!!!

We yelled HEY KRIS VANCOUVER REPRESENT too xD SOOO totally embarrassing, but hey whatever, it got his attention :D

No regrets :)

DAMN....he was just so....PERFECT T-T

AND HIS KOREAN WAS REALLY GOOD TOO!!

OK, I think the real bishface title should go to Tao! Yep, wushu diva panda gucci maknae gets that title!!!

During his idle times, he like just stared blankly at the fangirl's screaming his name and doing gestures XDDD

It was like all he could think of was FOOD !

And occasionally he did the rare peace sign, VOID OF EMOTION LMAO

IT WAS HILARIOUS

I think all the fangirls were cracking up because of that :DDD

And only when the photographers came did he SUDDENLY TURN INTO THIS AEGYO KING and like do peace signs and random poses LMAO

MAKNAE I AM ONTO YOU I AM SOOO ONTO YOU 

Ughhh, if I ever get to see you or talk to you, Tao, I WILL GIVE YOU FOOD and you will get excited :D

 And maybe do some buing buing action :DD

XIUMIN:

AHHH KIM BAOZI :DDD MANDUUU

He smiled a lot but because he was second in the positioning he was quite busy and did not get much idle time :\

And so as a result he barely did any gestures or waving T-T

ANDDDD he was on the other side so I couldn't really see him well~~

AHHHHHHRHGRHGRG which sucks because XIUMIN is my third bias from Exo-M </3

LUHAN:

He literally looked PERFECT in person...

His face...so MENG!

He just....was an angel...sigh

But he, like Xiumin, didn't get to do too many fanservice-y stuff. Luhan was FIRST in the line-up and so he had even less time~ He did do some peace signs and did some waving but didn't do much in our direction~ Too far I guess </3

LOLLLL Now Lillian and I are on our beds giggling and laughing so hard that it's turning into one of those silent laughs and like clapping our hands like seals LMAO

This fangirl feeling....so much pain and heartbreak...but so much happiness too xD

KOREA: Day 11: Insadong/ Miss Lee Cafe

Hai erryone~~

Today we went to Insadong, and there were LOTSSS of cool artsy stuff there (sorry for the horrible vocabulary, I'm about to pass out atm).

Even the subway station had this artsy glow to it~~

 

 Before we did any shopping, we had to satisfy our tummies first!!

So off to another small shack owned by a few ajummas~~

I ordered Twigim Mandu and Lillian ordered Naengmyun~~

 The Mandu was 3000 won and the Naengmyun was 5000 won~~

Then off to shopping we go!!

I gotta say, we passed by a lot of kpop stores (that all seemed to sell the same kind of stuff actually...>.>), and also lots of traditional Korean souvenir stores too~

And not to mention countless makeup stores and food booths where different kinds of special candies, pancakes, ice creams, ETC were sold~~

Being the broke person that I am, I had successfully restrained myself~ 

 Ended up buying stuff for my mommy <3 <3

Without her, this trip woulda never happened. and I would've never met my future hubbies

LMAO

Ginseng masks, rice wine chocolate, pomegranate tea, and this other tea that's good for blood pressure, skin, and circulation~~ (If I rmb correctly) In any case, it's just good for you lol~

The kind ajumma threw in several extra bags of pomegranate tea for free ^_^

Total cost was 48000 won ^^

Also bought some more small stuff fo friends ~

 

^ earrings were 1000 won each! (SO CHEAP OMG...LESS THAN A BUCK EACH?!)

Total cost for above pic is 30,000 won~~

NEXT is cafe time~~~~

We have finally found the wonderful Miss Lee cafe~~

Lots of celebs have visited this cafe before and I think one ep of We Got Married was filmed here too~ I forgot who...(well I don't watch WGM, just heard from Lillian), but anyways, it's cool xD

The cafe interior WAS THE CUTEST THANG SINCE...SINCE...YESTERDAY AT HELLO KITTY CAFE LMAO.

^ the servers were all guys LOL. coincidence? I think not!!!

I'm on to you, Miss Lee cafe =.= *

There weren't too many things on the menu, but whatever B)

Ofc, they were all over-priced~

But whatever B)

I got shikhae and Omicha hwachae while Lillian got lemon tea~~

The lemon tea was 6500 won, my shikhae was also 6500 won, and the omicha hwachae was 9500 won @.@

So expensive~

I bet it's 'cuz of the fruits in it! As I mentioned before, fruits in Korea are a very rare and expensive thing (from what I can see, maybe it's just my area).

After downing tons and tons of liquids (almost as much as I drank yesterday at 3 cafes...)

We walked around the area and stumbled upon an artsy little square(?) ish place~

That had CUTEEE stores

And here's just some other random artsy stuff that we passed by while browsing around~

And this super super super pretty bridge-ish thing with a nearby booth selling these small round tags that you can write on and hang on the gates~

So many couple tags~~ ARGHHHHH

After that, we went to hunt down the bossam restaurant that we had researched about~

Oh oh oh, on the way though we passed by this other high-quality ish-looking restaurant's parking lot that had this large black van with tinted windows~ We were SURE that it was an idol group's van. 

Why?

1) It was HUGE

2) Windows were EXTREMELY tinted

3) The driver (presumably manager?) was sitting there, napping, while waiting for whoever it is to finish eating.

We had considered going into the restaurant and eating there instead just to try to see who it was, but uhh....due to our poor poor wallets and due to the restaurant looking like it was very very expensive, we opted out of it T_T

The place was called Min's...crap...I forgot....it was either Palace...or...sth

ARGH.

But anyways,

after a while we finally found our place~~

^ The set we ordered cost 28,000 won in total, but because we also added two bowls of rice, it cost us 30,000 won in total~ So it was 15,000 won each~

Not too bad :)

Food was pretty darn good :D

But anyways, we decided to wrap up the day with that and head back to the guesthouse~~~

Tmw is Dongdaemun + famous restaurant + possibly trying to catch a glimpse of another celeb fansigning (not telling who! stay tuned :DDD)
